Russell McVeagh's accomplished female lawyers have received finalist placings ahead of the Euromoney Asia Women in Business Law Awards 2020.
 
The following lawyers have been shortlisted in their practice areas alongside leading women lawyers from across the Asia-Pacific region:
 

 
Additionally, Special Counsel Brigette Shone has been recognised as a finalist for the Rising Star in Intellectual Property category.
 
Finalists and individual winners will be judged on their professional accomplishments as well as their advocacy and influence within their fields over the last 12 months.
 
In the firm categories, Russell McVeagh has been named as a finalist for the Women in Business Law – National Firm Award, Best Firm for Pro Bono Work, and for the New Zealand jurisdiction award. Firm and country/regional winners are judged on their ability to support the development of women in the legal profession and provide work/life program to enable women to pursue legal careers.
 
"It is great to see these talented individuals being recognised for their expertise and influence from across the Asia-Pacific region. Diversity and inclusion has been a big focus for Russell McVeagh in recent years and it is fantastic to see this being recognised as well," Russell McVeagh CEO Jo Avenell said.
