Russell McVeagh has been named New Zealand Law Firm of the Year at the Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific 2026 Awards for the second year running.
Practice Group Chair and Partner Kirsten Massey was also named New Zealand Lawyer of the Year, the second consecutive year the firm has received this recognition.
These awards recognise leading litigators and the most significant disputes across Asia-Pacific, based on detailed research into complex and high-profile matters across the region.
This recognition follows Russell McVeagh’s Top Tier Firm ranking in the Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific Guide 2026, with eight partners individually recognised, the highest number of any New Zealand firm this year.
Kirsten Massey says the results reflect the strength of the team and the collective effort behind the firm’s litigation work.
“It is great to see the team recognised again in this year’s Benchmark Litigation awards and rankings. These results reflect the depth of expertise across our Litigation practice and the collaborative approach we bring to supporting our clients on complex matters.”
