Russell McVeagh is delighted to be named New Zealand Law Firm of the Year at the Chambers Asia-Pacific and Greater China Region Awards 2026.
The Chambers Asia-Pacific and Greater China Region Honours celebrate leading law firms across the region for outstanding legal work, strategic growth and excellence in client service. The awards are based on independent research conducted for the 2026 edition of the Chambers Asia Pacific directory.
CEO Ben McLaren says the recognition reflects a strong year for the firm and the collective efforts of its people.
"To be recognised as New Zealand's market leader for the work we do and our commitment to our clients is a proud moment for our firm. Over the past year, we have remained focused on supporting New Zealand’s growth, advising on a number of the country’s most significant matters across infrastructure, financial services, energy, real estate and major litigation.
This includes transformational transactions, nationally significant infrastructure and renewable energy projects, and complex disputes for leading corporates, financial institutions and public sector clients.
We are incredibly proud of our firm and the exceptional work our people do for our clients and communities every day."
The winners were recently announced at an awards ceremony in Hong Kong.
