Nigel is the firm’s Chief Information Officer, leading the delivery of technology services, knowledge management and business transformation for the firm and clients.
He is focused on leveraging technology and AI to improve operational efficiency, enhance client experience and support a more innovative, future-focused firm.
Nigel brings more than 20 years’ experience across legal and professional services, combining deep technical expertise with strong senior leadership capability. His experience spans a range of sectors, including financial services, education, manufacturing, and legal and professional services.
Prior to joining Russell McVeagh, Nigel held Chief Information Officer roles at MinterEllisonRuddWatts and Dentons Kensington Swan.
In 2019, he was recognised as one of New Zealand’s 50 Most Innovative CIOs by CIO Magazine.
Nigel holds an MBA with distinction, with a double major in operations and human resources. He also holds a number of technical and management qualifications.
