Russell McVeagh's talented women lawyers have been shortlisted in a wide range of practice areas ahead of the Women in Business Law Awards 2022, APAC.
The Awards recognise the leading women lawyers from the Asia-Pacific region and nominees are judged on the complexity of their work as well as on their advocacy, influence, and thought leadership to promote women in the practice of law.
Overall, the firm is shortlisted for 15 awards including 14 Practice Area and Rising Star awards, and the New Zealand Jurisdiction Firm Award.

This follows five of our top women lawyers taking home 'Lawyer of the Year' awards in their areas of expertise at the 2021 awards ceremony last year including, Liz Blythe (TMT), Deemple Budhia (Structured Finance and Securitisation), Marika Eastwick-Field (Insurance and Reinsurance), Polly Pope (Restructuring and Insolvency) and Emmeline Rushbrook (Financial Regulation).
Winners for 2022 are due to be announced at a virtual ceremony on 15 September and we wish all our finalists, as well as the other lawyers named on the shortlist, the best of luck.
