Jeremy Upson is a litigator whose practice spans a wide range of commercial and public law disputes. He has appeared at all levels of the court system. Since joining Russell McVeagh in 2019, he has advised and acted on an extensive variety of matters, including contract and tort claims, judicial review and class actions. His experience also covers insolvency cases such as companies’ claims against directors and auditors, shareholder and property disputes, regulatory matters, insurance litigation, and proceedings under the Commerce Act.
Before joining Russell McVeagh, Jeremy clerked at the Court of Appeal and practised at another leading New Zealand law firm.
