Jemma is a Senior Associate in the Banking & Finance team at Russell McVeagh. 

Her expertise covers banking and finance matters such as structured financing, debt programmes, regulatory issues and complex transactional arrangements.  She has advised a wide range of financial market participants, including banks and non‑bank lenders.

Jemma brings experience from both top‑tier private practice and in‑house roles.  She most recently acted as Senior Legal Counsel at a New Zealand wealth management and investment firm.  In that role, she advised on direct private credit investments, wholesale and retail fund management and financial regulatory matters. Her earlier experience includes roles at law firms in New Zealand and Singapore, working across banking, corporate finance and financial markets matters.
