As a skilled and experienced special counsel in the Corporate Advisory team, Gareth focuses on securities law, mergers and acquisitions, funds management, private equity and other corporate transactions. He regularly advises on a range of capital raisings, local and cross-border acquisitions, takeovers, funds management matters and joint ventures, as well as providing general corporate and securities law advice.

A major Australian private equity fund on the acquisition of a New Zealand pharmaceuticals business.
A large commercial contracting business on the structure for its continued growth and the subsequent acquisitions by that business.
A bidder in a competitive bid process for the proposed acquisition of a major player in the waste management industry.
Shareholders on the proposed sale of all of their company’s shares, including restructuring and resolving shareholder issues to enable the sale to proceed.
An NZX-listed entity on its merger with/acquisition of an Australian company, including in relation to the related Takeovers Code issues.

A New Zealand manufacturing company on its IPO and listing on the NZX.
