Profile

Frida is a senior associate in Russell McVeagh's Corporate Advisory team. She advises on all aspects of corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, overseas investment, joint venture arrangements, private equity transactions, commercial contracting and general corporate advisory.

Frida has advised a number of banks, insurers and other large listed and private corporates. 

Experience

Her recent work includes acting for:
  • Unilever on the New Zealand aspects of its global tea business restructure.
  • Spark on the acquisition by Qrious, Spark's wholly-owned AI and data unit, of NOW Consulting from private-equity owned Wherescape Software.
  • The Carlyle Group on the New Zealand aspects of its acquisition of Accolade Wines.
  • The under-bidder for the New Zealand life insurance business of a major Australasian bank.
  • Spark on the divestment of its Morepork home security business to ADT.
  • CBA on its divestment of Sovereign to AIA.
  • CITIC on its investment in LanzaTech.

Professional

Before joining Russell McVeagh in 2017, Frida worked at another New Zealand law firm for four years. 

Frida was admitted to practise in 2013.
