About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Solicitor and Senior Associate with generalist banking and finance experience to join our team.
Our Banking and Finance team leads the market in debt capital markets, project finance, financial markets regulation, and corporate and acquisition finance. We advise on large bank funding work; term securitisations; sustainability-linked and proceeds-based green borrowing; and our project finance team advises on key national infrastructure projects.
You will be acting as an advisor to major banks, listed companies, and government clients. You will support them to navigate through some of their most complex financial transactions. The role will work with John Powell, David Weavers and Jesse Fairley on a range of generalist banking and finance law. They are recognised as leading lawyers in New Zealand and internationally and regularly advise on landmark transactions.
