Pat Bowler

Pat is one of the most experienced corporate lawyers in New Zealand. His work covers the whole range of corporate and government practice at a senior level.

He provides governance advice and team leadership on major projects, often involving network industries, Crown enterprises and Maori entities (including trusts).

He has advised on transactions in many industries, including electricity (generation, transmission, distribution and retail), dairy, rail, oil and gas, and shipping.

Admitted to practise in New Zealand in 1972.

Pat joined Russell McVeagh as a partner in 1984, bringing with him a wealth of corporate and commercial experience. Prior to joining he had practised in London and New Zealand, and had been General Counsel for Mobil Oil. He became a consultant in 2013.
