About the role

Based in Wellington, we have an amazing opportunity to support our National Business Development, Marketing & Communications team. You will coordinate and leverage sponsorships and third-party conferences, whilst supporting the firm's business development initiatives.

We are looking for an enthusiastic events coordinator who will be responsible for:

  • Event planning and administration, including, preparing and updating guestlists, creating run sheets and looking after post-event activity for events in Wellington and Auckland.  This role is from Monday to Friday. 
  • Identify client entertainment options and generate event ideas.
  • Attend Wellington events, you will meet and greet the attendees and ensure the event runs smoothly and assist with the communications and profiling of the events.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, partners, legal staff, catering and services teams about event requirements.

  • Previous experience in an event management/coordination or administration role
  • Strong administrative experience
  • Previous experience in a professional services environment and corporate experience would be advantageous
  • A strong service focus with the need to listen and understand the essential requirements of different areas of the firm.
  • Ability to build connections and work collaboratively.
