Background

As the National Learning and Organisational Development Manager, Rachel provides insightful learning solutions and leads the direction of Russell McVeagh’s learning and organisational development strategy.

Rachel is responsible for the design, coordination, logistics and continuing development of the learning and development programme at Russell McVeagh. This programme includes clerk and graduate induction, graduate development, professional skills training and Continuing Professional Development compliance.

She also drives the rollout of internal culture and workplace safety programmes, women in the law, wellbeing initiatives, resilience training and employee engagement surveys.

Rachel supports solicitors at all levels across the various stages of their legal career, from admission and international re-qualification through to promotion and partnership processes. Her insight and considerable legal experience is highly respected by her legal and non-legal colleagues alike.

Rachel is an expert in Continuing Professional Development and New Zealand Law Society regulations compliance.

Experience

Rachel joined Russell McVeagh as the National Learning and Organisational Development Manager in 2011.

Rachel has worked alongside legal professionals for 15 years in learning and development, and administrative roles. She began working in learning and development in 2005 whilst working for a Magic Circle firm in London.
