Lauren advises on all aspects of resource management and environmental law, with a focus on development and large-scale infrastructure projects.
She has a broad range of litigation experience, having appeared before local authorities as well as in the Environment Court, District Court and High Court. She also advises on local government matters, including development contributions under the Local Government Act 2002 and alcohol licensing under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
Lauren's recent experience includes:
Advising Auckland International Airport on a range of resource management and planning matters, including successfully obtaining the planning approvals for the development of a reconfigured second runway.
Advising on the development of the Drury South Precinct (a major industrial and residential development in Drury South), including resource consents, private plan changes, and the negotiation of development and infrastructure agreements.
Advising Woolworths on a range of alcohol licensing applications and appearing before the Alcohol Regulatory and Licensing Authority to successfully obtain off-licences.
Advising and representing KiwiRail on various district plan changes and reviews throughout New Zealand, including Hutt City, Waikato and Whangarei.
Representing a wide range of clients on the Auckland Unitary Plan process, including through appeals to the Environment Court and High Court.
