Russell McVeagh partner Sarah Keene has been named as the only New Zealand winner at the Lawyer Monthly Women in Law Awards. The Women in Law Awards celebrate and highlight the achievements of women in the legal profession across the globe and as a result of several months of research and preparation, reward female legal experts that have influenced the wider legal profession in their jurisdiction.
Sarah is the pre-eminent competition law practitioner in the New Zealand market, and one of the leading practitioners of Competition law in the Asia Pacific region. She successfully advises on high-value domestic and international competition matters including some of the most difficult mergers, defence litigation and cartel investigations, and is consistently recognised above others in her field as a leading expert. Sarah was recently recognised by Best Lawyers winning Lawyer of the Year Award 2017 in Competition and Consumer Law for New Zealand and by the International Law Office Client Choice Awards 2016 as the exclusive winner in the Competition & Antitrust category.
Our firm would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Sarah, the other winners and finalists.
