About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced banking and finance lawyer to join our Auckland based team.

Reporting into Deemple Budhia, who's consistently ranked as one of the top lawyers in her field, you will specialise in securitisation (including covered bonds) and structured finance, debt capital markets, financial markets regulation (including insurance) and derivatives.  Acting as an advisory to major banks, listed companies and government clients you will support them to navigate through some of their most complex financial transactions.

About you

We're looking for solicitors with:

  • 4 + years' experience in banking and finance (preferably experience in securitisation or another related field)
  • Top marks in their law degree
  • Drive, ambition and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Private practice experience 

The position a successful candidate will be appointed to will vary depending on their experience.
