Profile

Kendra is a special counsel in Russell McVeagh's Real Estate & Construction team, based in the Wellington office. She advises on a wide range of commercial property matters, including large-scale property acquisitions and disposals, commercial leasing, and developments. 

Experience

Kendra has experience advising public and private sector clients on various commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals, portfolio leasing, large-scale developments and subdivisions. Kendra takes pride in developing excellent relationships with colleagues and clients.

Before joining Russell McVeagh in March 2023, Kendra spent most of her career at another New Zealand law firm, most recently as a Principal. She has also gained some in-house experience, having worked for one of New Zealand’s top 10 NZX companies, and has spent time overseas. 

Some notable experience of Kendra's includes advising:

  • Spark New Zealand Trading Limited on its mobile network and leasing portfolio;

  • the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment in respect of its leasing portfolio and new office developments;

  • the Ministry for the Environment in respect of the lease arrangements for its new head office in Wellington;

  • Urban Plus Limited in respect of its acquisitions, developments and subdivisions;

  • Connexa Limited in respect of its network infrastructure;

  • Taumata Arowai-the Water Services Regulator in respect of its new head office development in Wellington; and

  • Statutory trusts on their investment property portfolios and developments.
