Russell McVeagh client, QIC Private Capital, has successfully completed its purchase of 50% of Vector Limited's New Zealand and Australian metering business. This is a strategically important transaction which will see QIC working with Vector Metering, a leading company in New Zealand’s energy transition market, to grow its smart metering platform across New Zealand and Australia. Led by partners Ian Beaumont and Ben Paterson, Russell McVeagh's team is pleased to have acted as lead deal counsel for QIC on this significant energy market transaction, with the team including partners Liz Blythe, Tom Hunt and Greg Neill, senior associates Hannah Wilson-Reddy, Emily Murray-Joubert and Simon Mackley, senior solicitor Angus Hancock, as well as solicitors Daisy Archibald, Waka Ramanlal, Tyrone Toia, Daniel Keleghan and Riki Kahukiwa.
